Default Witch one do i buy?

Have been looking at quite a few Disco's about seven now. I have it narrowed down to two. Looking for some advice first is a 2000 with 75k but has overheating problem. The second is a 2003 with 95k supposedly the heads and water pump and crank sensor have been done, but it needs work as well. I like the 03 it is black with black interior 18" tires. I also like the 2000 it is blue with the tan interior. Both are clean some blemishes here and there. I have been doing my research. The 03 is out of the oil pump vin range. I know I am going to be doing work to either one I get. The 03' I can get for 3200 the 00' they wont move from 2750. Witch one would you get?

Thanks for the input.

What kind of work needs to be done to both of them and do you have pics? From the description the 2000 sounds like a blown head gasket so there are probably many more issues you might have to deal with. I'd go with the 03 IF and only if there is proof of the work done.

seems pretty obvious.. the one that doesn't overheat... What are you wanting to do with the truck.. Are you planning to do the work yourself? What are the issues on the 03 that are making you have questions? 75k and overheating sounds like a head gasket which could easily cost you more than half of what you spent on the truck..

The work I am speaking of would be worst case scenario doing heads on either one of them. I am mechanically inclined and prepared to do the heads if I have to.

The 03 after the test drive seemed to be leaking antifreeze. And the 03 the blower motor does not turn on.

Okay then it is probably one of the hoses, never had to change an AC blower motor so I don't know how hard it would be but I don't think it is harder than replacing the head gaskets.

Edit: now that I think about it, it could just be a fuse or relay that is causing the issue with the blower.
