My 95 Disco I is experiencing some problems that may take some time and cash to cure but that I will cure, I love the damn thing. That said I may need something in the meantime for a few grand to simply put miles on to play around with. Never had a Mitsubishi but kind of like the look of the Montero. Any thoughts? Again, my Disco comes first but kind of need something to put miles on and load up the tribe. Just curious if anyone had had any experience.

Targotsi,
I owned a 2000 montero sport, with the 3.0 liter v6. I loved that truck. a bit heavy, and revs high on interstate, but i never had a problem with it. It was nice, turned heads, and bullet proof. Believer me, i put it to the test a time or two.

I had a 2001 Montero (NOT the Montero Sport) that I bought brand new and if I ever get rid of my LR I WILL buy another one.
100,000 miles in 5 years and it was never once in the shop for anything other than a timing belt at 60k.
Man I miss that truck.
