Default Is it worth Having injectors cleaned

I have my heads off now for new head gaskets. Is it worth having the injectors ultra sonic cleaned and flow tested?

Thank you,
Willie

No, not unless there was a problem before.

I agree, if you want to help your engine, when it is all back together buy a can of B&G's 44K and it will clean up anything that is carboned up.

usually adding a bottle techron to the gas every 10 th tank keeps the injectors clean and also the valves.
For the cleaner to work best its better to do short drives this gives it time to soak in and thus remove more deposits, consider an oil change after this treatment.

Thank you guys, thats alot cheaper then having a shop do it. I'll put that money towards some lift springs instead. I already have the OME shocks.

Which OME springs are you going to be buying?

Don't mean to thread jack, but is there any reason the injector O-rings would need to be replaced? Mine runs fine but I had the whole thing torn down for head gaskets and wondered if it would be a good preventative maintenance idea to change the injector o-rings.
