Nice kit Sixpack577, I just like entrepreneurs and go getter's, called the 'can do' approach, they are the backbone of industry and manufacturing.
For glaze busting bores I use one of these but undoubtedly your kit is far better.

PS: These tools need to be used with caution for safety and damage to the bores. Over enthusiasm can cause deep gouges in the bores or pulling them out of the bore whilst still rotating can lead to personal damage.

Thank you sir, but I just work here.
As for those hones, yes, they work well, but are better suited in a boring machine with a fixed speed and stroke.
By hand, in a drill, and it can go bad real fast.
I'm going to use a fine grit ball hone.
When I had the oil pan off, the cylinders all still had a nice cross hatch pattern. So I'm hoping and betting they all will measure in spec.

First you should bypass the TBH to ensure that's not causing your leak back there.
If the HG is leaking I vote for finding a better lower mileage one to put your time and money into. You don't sound like you have any desire to become a member of the million mile club with the current D2. Good points about your present vehicle's mileage and overall condition. If willing to wait and not cheap out to find a really good one you might be pleased.
