Default 2018 Discovery Sport Oil Leak

My Discovery Sport has developed an engine oil leak. It seems to be coming from somewhere above the gearbox bellhousing. I removed the top of the air box and the oil is evident, starting the engine did not indicate where it is coming from, anyone had a similar issue?
Probably lost about 2ltr oil mostly evident on the lhs under the engine/tray

2 litres of oil is a very large amount to lose,, over what time frame? How often do you check your oil?

I would get the engine cleaned and have a garage put dye in the oil and monitor it.

With engine problems it is always best to tell what engine you have in the car.

Default Update

I’ve had the car to a technician who found a ‘plug’ missing from the block near the intake manifold, if I recall our conversation correctly. On speaking with Landrover he was advised this had occurred in other vehicles, a replacement plug has been ordered, a relatively simple fix apparently. I don’t know (yet) how said plug is secured, apparently it has an ‘o’ ring.
I’ll update later
