If I had a leaking oil cooler line I'd be plugging em off to get me home. I'm sure it would have no short term effect until new lines are made......

Oh I got ya. I thought he used the long rods..... I did the same 4.6 rods with 4.0 piston heads on the 4.6 crank.

Scouts is saying you can't use 4.0 rods on 4.6 crank, stroke would be too long

Lost my rave on tablet trying to redownload ugh

Got it... Yeah 4.0 Pistons with 4.6 crank and rods is the ticket

Yes you are correct. I should've elaborated more. I re-used my 4.0 push rods.

Oil pump seems fine with feeler gauges, should I put assembly lube on pump gears?

Yes or Vaseline ...as long as it is oil soluble. Pack it full
