I looking to order a gasket kit for my land rover. Its has a (1968)perkins 4.203 in it. I need a gasket kit but not sure what to order. The websites say that there is a Direct and indirect. How do I tell a difference. Is the direct/indirect referring to the fuel injection?

 

I've built a few 4cly perkins back home in australia and they are all direct injection unless is the really early model which come with a decompression lever which you don't have. If yup have the serial number AIS are suppliers for perkins and are very helpful
