Discovery 2 LS Conversion

Some will and some wont with the GM ECU. Its a mixed bag of results. That said, modern factory cats are still "high flow" cats. The high flow catalyst is by comparison to the old style cats from the 70s and 80s that were full of pellets. You won't notice any difference swapping out the cats. If you're going that route you might as well re-do your exhaust system to increase pipe size. Then you'll notice some difference.

For those that only pulled the upper intake manifold and did not remove the heads from the block... what existing holes did you use on the block when attaching your block to an engine hoist and leveler? Normally I'd use the head bolts and an L bracket.
I'm thinking about removing two of the opposing corner bolts that hold in the inlet manifold and attaching the hoist diagonally across the top of the block (see pic below).
Also considering using one of the holes on the front of the block where the power steering pump bracket attached previously. If I go that route I'm not sure what to use on the back of the block as an attachment point.
12 bolts that hold down the lower half of the inlet manifold.
I'd use some hardware to attach the chains from the leveler to these two bolts.
Was also thinking about using these points that previously held on the front brackets and accessories.

Finally got the engine out! Now to find a new heart for Diego.
Front mounting points for the leveler. Used the 2 ton hoist from Harbor Freight on the 1/2 ton setting for the arm.
Rear mounting points for the leveler.
Old motor on the 750lb harbor freight engine stand. Attach the black arms and square to the engine first and torque to the numbers in the rave then slide into the red receiver.

4 beta test kits went out today. We are estimating that the kits will be available late summer, as soon as we get feedback from this set of beta testers. Sorry about that, send me an email - it's the fastest/best way to get in contact.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to send an update. More of the beta test kits have been sent out. This brings the total to 11 with another 2 almost ready. I’m looking forward to seeing how these installs go.
It’s almost been one year since the first video was posted and I just wanted to say thank you for all the support, especially from this forum. I know it has been a slow and long road. Bringing this project from a prototype to a kit has been a sizable effort, amongst the trials and tribulations, but the newest kits are markedly improved over the first prototype.
The latest kits improvements from over a year ago include: 0.25 inch shorter drivetrain length, redesigned motor mounts, and new electrical conversion box. These improvements have made the install a lot easier and the overall setup much cleaner.
More kits are on the way.
