Discovery 2 LS Conversion
Question for the original beta testers and ACE... what happens several years from now when one of the swap kit components fails?
Mostly concerned about the (ACE) box that allows the LS computer to interact with the Rover computer.
On another note I was able to successfully purchase a kit from an original beta tester and I'll be doing my best to record a video of the full installation that others can reference when going through their install.
Has anyone from the original group of beta testers been tapped to lead an effort to keep this swap kit going?
I'm very open to crowd fund this to ensure that all the hard work Ace put in doesn't go to waste and so that the beta testers have a community to support their already swapped trucks.

Really Really. More and more fail due to unexpected premature coolant pipe bursts. There may be a market for an Alternate Conversion for these trucks. Any opinions or comments?
I meant my remark in terms of the audacity of asking even more from someone who has invested huge amounts of time, expense, and energy into a project that he then explains he has to scale back on producing and supporting because of its complexities and demands.
These swaps are reaching into very specialised niches for what are already somewhat niche vehicles. The demand for such particular engine swaps is likely to be relatively small, and the returns for the developer even smaller. Doesn't the guy get to take a break?

There will be a demand, but probably too early yet. The 5.0 is a problem according to the Rover dealer techs, but the trucks are too new, too expensive, and many are still under warranty. It is more complicated in terms of electronics, particularly the TCU interface. That will be a complex conversion, and I suspect many years before someone takes these on.
