I am new in this forum and I really need help with my car, I am driving Range Rover 1999 – 4.0 L and below is my serious problem with my car and I would like to fix them… I love this car even though is very old:

1.)Back wiper works but, the nozzle WON’T SPRAY WATER.

2.)Key problems: won’t open the doors from far also, trigger alarm and LOCKED THE ENGINE. I put in the car starter, wouldn’t work car won’t stop (I took it out).

3.)Dash board lights are dead… ONLY THE ODOMETER (YOU CAN NOT SEE THE NUMBERS/MILES)

4.)Water problems: water gets in the car sides all the way down in the floor… I changed the sunroof the whole panel and cleaned the 4 drains AFTER CAR WASH AND HEAVY RAIN WATER ON THE FLOORS: ONLY FRONT DRIVER’S AND PASSENGER.

5.) Any opinion on leather repair?

2.) This sounds like a driver's door latch is not working correctly or the engine control unit has lost synchronization with the immobilization control unit. Do you know if the engine management is a Bosch or GEMS? Most likely the door latch is the problem especially if the remote is not working correctly.

 

That make sense, I did replaced the door latch... the engine is Bosch... was I supposed to do something else (any details will be great) thank you.
