freelander doing my swede in!
hi all!
i recently bought a freelander 1.8, and after a faultless first trip from Runcorn to Newark , it decided it had had enough later that same day and ground to a halt . it turned out to be a faulty fuel pump . new pump fitted, running fine....for a day. now when i accelerate it will misfire, usually aound 2-3000rpm. i then changed the plugs and map sensor, but still the persists. as it only happens around that rev range, i cant seem to work out what the problem is. so i thought i would throw the problem out there for any and every bit of advice.
also, the idle control valve clicks intermittently when the ignition is on, could this cause the problem?
thank you in advance
