Need a little help in where to start
Just a quick update, I have the timing belt covers and all necessary axillary brackets removed and the belts are fully exposed. That was very time consuming and resulted in a number of knuckle busters along the way. LOL I have the coolant drained and plan to replace the water pump and start with the front belt tonight.

OK, I really need some advise now. I removed the front belt, changed the bolts and cleaned the gears. when I was putting the tool back on the right side the camshaft and turned clockwise I turned too far and the camshaft slipped by the exhaust locater. Can I turn the camshaft counter clockwise or do I need to rotate the camshaft until the rear gears align? I stopped until I know more on what I need to do. Please tell me what to do next???

Marty, a little more information needed - do you have the new rear belts on and in place? By "locator" do you mean the end of the tool which slides into the exhaust cam when holding the front sprocket in place?
Well thanks to all of the guidance and help from Rick I was able to finish the belt replacements on my 2004 Land Rover Freelander. It was an learning process and even with the internet and the Manuals I needed the guidance from someone that has been there before. I worked on this project with my sons and they now appreciate the work we put into the repairs. Thanks again to rick and now its time to enjoy.
