Default Rear suspension issues

My Freelander HSE knocks at the rear when accelerating or stopping at slow speed. I understand that this is probably the rear diff mount brackets. One of the rear brackets can be moved more than the other. I'll be replacing all 3.

Additionally, when the vehicle goes over a bump, the rear suspension jars me in the vehicle. Is this related to the rear diff mounting brackets, or are ther other problems with struts, or other components? Thanks.

Could well be other components, like struts etc., and their failure may have increased stress on the differential mounts. So after the 3 mounts are repaired, you should work to resolve any remaining issues, to prevent extra wear on the new mounts.
