Default 1998 Range

I have the opportunity to buy a 98 Range. It was turned over to the bank and I may have a crack at it. What do you think it is worth? 120k on the clock. What should i look for as far as mechanical, electrical, etc? I have a 95 Disco but have never been around or worked on a Range. Thanks for any help any of you can provide.

If in the US you can look at www.statewidelist.com, and search for rover in your state, it indexes craigslist by metro area. Pretty handy to see what is out there. If talking more money than is "disposable", think about having an indy mechanic inspect it at your expense. One hour of shop time could be well worth it. Since a repo, you must assume that service intervals may not have been met on most, if not all things. If one must decide between food and oil change.... Bank also knows they can take it to weekly auto auction and move it quickly, they are looking for maximum return, not speed of transaction.
