Question 2001 P38 RS Mirror

Is there a CLIP that holds the mirror glass to the assembly? Mine got knocked out and will not snap back in. WAS there a clip of some sort that holds it in place? There is NO broken plastic on teh back of the mirror glass, the motor portion is NOT broken the glass assembly will not stay in place.
Thank you
George P

Mr. George, sorry, I don't know about that mirror. But was happy to see you had the new motor installed. If you wouldn't mind, what should other members budget to have a crate engine swapped out by an indy mechanic? Thanks.

Motor was $2,900.00 complete drop in
Labor was $1,750.00
I had new mounts added to the job.
The motor had 145,000 miles BUT was freshened by the seller, heads done, bottom end looked over and pressure tested BEFORE delivery. Runs like a clock and gets BETTER MPG than the old one.
This was a local shop in Aiken S.C.
Now just fix the DUMB Mirror
