2001 P38 Tailgate locked - won't open

2001 P38 Tailgate locked - won't open
Hey guys. Went to open the rear window and tailgate today and it won't budge. When I push the button in, it depresses all the way but won't open. It seems like it's locked. I tried locking and unlocking with the key, the fob, and no luck. All other locks work fine. Any suggestions?
