My mechanic says its the Fuel Injectors. Do I have to replace all of them? Is it easy to tell which ones are bad? Can anyone a good place to order the fuel injectors from ?
Look for a new mechanic, there is not one fault code indicating an injector issue.
Plugs and wires, now this another thing, a must, but you might want to call me I can walk you thru what to check first.

Just another update. I wasnt getting any spark from one of the coils so I replaced it and cleared the codes.

Drove it 4 miles and I get the codes

Any new thoughts?

One more update.

I replaced the air filter. It was really old and dirty. I also cleaned out the MAFS with the MAFS cleaner. Cleared the codes and 5 Miles later and now I get

P0734 Gear 4 incorrect ratio

The other codes disappeared.

Also the plugs I have in there are Risks Leoni 2015 Silicon?
Those arent original plugs are they?

Fixing Range Rovers seems like a lot of fun!

Its me again

Cleaned the MAFS again and 20 miles later I get P0734 and P0455. I know P0455 is usually something to do with the gas cap but it looked fine to me.....Maybe it was just a little off...

So you guys thing its offically time to change the MAFS? Or other symptoms I should try?

The plugs and wires look like they been changed.

if the 455 code wasnt an issure before, and niether ware the lean codes, i would check to make sure your purge valve is on all the way, its on the drivers side of the upper intake, right behind the throttle body, it can easily cause the codes you mentioned after the coil was replaced.

Ok replaced the MAFS and I dont get the P0734 codes anymore. I get the P0455 codes still. Every 15 miles or so. I triple checked the gas cap and the purge valve.

What do you guys suggest?

Try a new gas cap?
Or anything else?

Ok..On second thought I think it might be the purge valve....

I took a picture of mine. Is it supposed to be dangling out and not connected to anything?

I also noticed a little bit off the rubber of the top is peeling off. The part where the black plastic piece and the grey rubber tubing meet. Can i just tape that part?

I'm in the processing of purchasing a 2000 Range Rover Hse with 110,000 miles. I had it inspected my a Land Rover dealership and it stated the reason my service engine light is on because I have a cracked vacuum hose. Is that something major with the engine?

No, a rubber vac hose can become brittle and crack, should be repaired for gas mpg, smooth operation, and freedom from engine trouble codes. Get cost to repair and factor that into your purchase price. Maybe negotiate an extended warranty.

DIY fix for vac hose is usually well under $20, but dealer has to add labor, shop fee, recycling fee, chewing gum fee, part's manager's donut fee, etc.

Thanks Savannah. I got a quote from the dealer on the repair of the cracked vacuum hose, and they stated including parts and labor it was going to be $350. I'm going to purchase a warranty through Auto Advantage, I wanted to know have anyone use them before?
