2003 RR advice needed...
Hello everyone,
I'm new to these forums so I apologize in advance for any dumb questions/statements I may make.
Here is my situation:
My wife and I need to upgrade to an SUV (more space, better towing capacity, better all-weather capabilities, etc) and I'm really interested in getting a used Range Rover. (I found a used 2003 at a competitive price, but my search isn't over yet)
We will spend the majority of time with this vehicle in an urban setting but once every month or two we will be using it to get to our cabin which is tucked in the woods about 4 miles down an oil pipeline access road. Needless to say, offroading ability will come in handy.
As far as I'm concerned, all cars break down from time to time, so I'm willing to accept that when buying a used SUV. However, I have heard that Land Rovers spend more than a little time in the shop. Is that true, or are they just like any other car?
I love the look of the RR and its statistics on paper, but I'm wondering what people with real-life experience think about them.
Any and all advice would be welcome!!!
Thanks in advance.
