Default 86 Carb

Hello everyone,

New to the Range Rover family but enjoying every moment and always learning.

I've had some crap run through my tank and had to have the tank out, change the fuel filter housing, have the carbs off and rebuilt/replace diaphragms/gaskets.

However, my question is, the breathers for the carbs seem to be spitting a lot of fuel every now and then. I love the smell of fuel but my passengers don't and I'd kind of like to save some fuel(if that is possible in the 3.5 V8!) instead of just dumping it.

Any ideas of advice or ideas on why this would be happening would be appreciated !!

Cheers
ST

check the fuel pump pressure. The old electrics go bad and will not cut off like they are supposed to and will push fuel out every opening on the carbs.
