Default AIRBAG FAULT ETC

OK, Here we go again. Car has been doing just fine and just passed its annual safety inspection, so I cannot really complain. Last week, I noticed that the clock light was out and the same day the interior cab light went out. Today, started the car to find it has a srs/airbag fault. I looked in the manual and obviously need to check the fuses and bulbs. I have no idea how to get to the clock bulb.

Is there a relay that operates the srs? Is there something I should check before taking it in?

I have a 2000 rr 4.0, 129k miles, yellow top deep cycle Optima battery put in last year.

Any suggestions are VERY welcome.
PS Airbag fault should not result in airbag deploying while driving, right? I just want to make sure.

I checked all the fuses and relays and nothing looks fried. I checked all the connections under both seats and used compressed air on all connections. I vaccuumed and looked for chewed or pinched wires and found nothing. The fault still shows. When car is started, SRS light goes off for a second, and then comes back on with the airbag fault dispalyed in message center. I checked the bulb in the interior cab and it looked ok, even tried to switch it out with a new one, and no luck. If I hold the button down (center light) message center says and beeps interior off/on, but no light??? Side lights are working fine ??? Still have no idea how to change clock bulb, and am really wondering if these troubles are all connected. Please!! if anyone has any ideas or suggestions they are welcome

most likely not connected. good chance you need a new lamp for the overhead light, the board inside goes bad pretty often. the clock can only be fixed by removing the whole center dash piece, inc. both side console trims, the ip surround and the drivers knee bolster. as for the srs light, most likely causes are the seat air bag connectors or the clockspring. need to pull codes to find out, and clear codes, not self clearing. if it is the seat bags, add di-electric grease to the yellow connectors under the seats. should fix that.
