Default Bluetooth

I connected my blackberry pearl to my range rover. I dial a phone number and it rings and rings and then when someone answers the call the system ends the call. Or when someone calls me it rings and rings i press ok on the screen to answer the call and once I do the call ends. Any advice on what can be wrong? FYI the blackberry pearl is a new phone and my Range Rover is an 2005. Thanks.

The blackberry pearl does not work with the bluetooth in the Range Rovers. It pairs but then you are unable to dial. I would use a phone which does Not use text as an interphase, ie the Motorola Verizon.

Well it doesn't make sense to me that my pearl wouldn't work. I looked at the approved phone list posted on the land rover website and the pearl is fully compatible plus it was tested on the tmobile network. Everything should work. I dropped off my car for service and they gave me an LR3 for a loaner and my phone worked fine. I think it has to do with the unit or software in the car.
