I just purchased 2 new Range Rover Sports (one for me and one for my wife). I set up the Bluetooth connection with each of our Blackberry Bold phones. They pair with the cars just fine but then disconnect after 15-30 seconds. This happens with both phones and both cars. I do not have any issues like this with our Audi or Volvo. The dealer has no answer either. Could this have something to do with the Bold not being compatible? Thoughts?

 

I just went to landrover.com to look up the phone compatibility for you. There are 3 different blackberry bolds and 6 different software versions that are compatible. The website will also narrow it down further with the last 6 digits of your VIN numbers. Land Rover website - select your region - select your country - owner's drop down menu - bluetooth.

 

if it aint on the list then its a crapshoot. No other questions need to be asked. if the version and software are not on the list then oh well. Sorry
