Default Can't Loosen Oil Drain Plug!

Ok, I know that this sounds pathetic...

I can not loosen the oil drain plug on my '04 RR. I went to change the oil this evening and can not break it free. I assume the last oil change tech over tightened it. I tried a hex wrench and a socket. Any suggestions?

I changed the oil on my Disco tonight without ANY issues.

Thanks

First thing to do is spray some penetrating oil on the nut, like wd40 and let it do some magic.

Put a breaker bar on your wrench after 24 hours.

Hope that helps.

I picked up a 6mm torque socket this morning and it did the trick. It also helped to get it up on ramps for some leverage. Thanks for the recommendation on the wd40.
