I am considering purchasing a 2001 Range Rover HSE with 77k on it but there appears to be a fault code in the climate control. See the attached picture that displays an exclamation point and what appears to be an owner's manual. Has anybody since this before?

 

Thats the check book light. That little icon illuminates off and on in mine, I do not know why mine comes on.
Usually It will illuminate when there is any sort of abnormality in the system. It usually goes off when a blend motor has failed, or is about to. If the system functions like normal, then it could be a very minor annoyance.

 

When mine was on it was because it was low on freon. I had a bad condensor so I replaced that and charged it back up. The light (book image) went off and hasn't been back on.
