Default Dual view (parallax) screen in 2010?

From reading the shop manual, my 2010 (and later) Autobiography has Sharp's "dual view" front screen, wherein the driver can see the map and (for example) the front passenger can watch a movie.

They enable it in Europe, but due to the way the laws (and/or lawyers) are in the US, it's not available here.

I'm wondering if this is a -physical- change (ie: they don't use the same screen) or just a software change for the US market?

If anyone knows, please chime in!
