Default HSE Steering Angle Sensor Replacement

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and thank you in advance for any replies and advice.

I recently brought my 2004 HSE to PDXRovers in Portland, they are great, to have them look at my HDC Inactive, Air Susp. Inactive, DSC, and ABS lights. The codes came back that the Steering Angle Sensor is malfunctioning and would need to be replaced.

My question to the forum is, does anyone know how to replace this device and is it something that I should let PDXRovers handle or could I do it myself?

I look forward to your replies.

Here is the part: http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/SRO105071G.cfm . It does not look like the task of replacing the sensor will be that involved. However, the service manual should clarify on what it is you need to do. You can download it from greenoval.com .
