Default Inside Leak

Need some help,

I have a orange likeliquid leaking down in the passenger area - down under left areaagainst the console. I just notice this happening 4 days ago. I thought it was airfresher the detailing shop sprayed. However, when I wipe it from the carpet it appeared again 2 days later. Its not much but it is noticable. 99 RR HSE

Any ideas?

Sorry I read your post a couple times and wasn't clear... is the leak in the rear seating area? By the A/C vents or elsewhere. When you feel the carpet is it damp, slimy, does the liquid smell or leave residue on your fingers? Orange isn't a good color for a leak but it would be strange to have orange leaking in the rear seating area.

Sorry with some more info might be able to help.

Regards

Most likely your Heater O rings. If not that then it's the heater core. The orange fluid is your antifreeze fluid. search post for leaking O Rings.

Thanks for the response. The lead is in the front passenger area on down under the dash left side.

It doesn't have a smell but I do smell antifreeze when the heat is on (not sure if that has anything to do with it.) Nonetheless, I'll check the site for leaking O rings.

Thanks !

o rings, cores never die, dont let the tech tell you its 6 hours either becuase all you need is a long screw driver and remove the a/c face plate and the radio and 30 minutes later wella scott
