Longevity of Brakes

Longevity of Brakes
Let's talk about brakes for a second. From what I have heard from other owners, brakes (at least the front brakes) on a supercharged last for about 10kmiles and brakes on an HSE last for about 20k - 25k (obviously depending on your driving).
For those of you who had made brake changes, what model do you have and what was the mileage.
I have almost20k miles on my HSE and have not had to change the brakes yet.

RE: Longevity of Brakes
Only 20K miles on your '07! I'm jealous. nearly 36K here on my '07 but I guess I do drive quite a bit. I think it has a ton to do with driving habits. I put EBC Green Stuff 6000 pads on not that long ago because the OEM ones squeaked a bit much for my liking and the EBCs provide, or at least seem to provide, much improved braking performance. The old ones weren't nearly shot yet though so I was pretty impressed. For a vehicle of it's weight... that's not bad. I think people only getting 10K or 20K are driving pretty hard.

They would last the same. Along the same lines, I thought about adding the Brembo's all around on my wife's car but found out that it was going to cost somewhere around $5,000 or so which I coudn't justify especially after further research. The experts said that unless I am going to be on the track it really wouldn't be worth it.
