my 1999 RR driver door is stuck closed. it apears to be in superlock mode, i can hear the motor inside the door work but it doesnt unlock! what do i do!!! what do i do!? HELP!

 

you need a new door latch. fun part is getting it out. The trick is a bulletin that explains the way you do it. Its not fun. It sucks. It requires using a large hammer and a screwdriver to break a piece of plastic on the latch to get it to force the mechanism up to open the door. oh and it has to be inside the door next to the window. Really sucks big time.

i was checking this forum only not google, i did end up getting it open with a large screwdriver and a hammer. anyway thanks for the warm introduction. hope to be talking with you guys soon. probably a lot since i have a rover and plan on getting a disco 2 this summer.
