Default new Jag/LR v8

I recieved some information in regards to the new 5.0 liter v8, should be a real performer. Direct injection, variable cam phasing, and over 500 hp in S/C form. No oil dipstick or drainplug... The factory is still trying to determine the proper tool to remove (suck) the oil out for changing.

Very interesting! One of my recent cars, either 2004 Mercedes or 2005 Boxster didn't have a dipstick. I can't remember which one. I don't change my oil anyway so it didn't make a difference to me but it was unusual.
