Default No start with occasional start after lots of tries and dies after a few mins

But getting spark and fuel it seems...
97 4.6 gems
Codes 1120 and 1121 seem to correlate with throttle position sensor
possible culprit?
Also I noticed the connection to ect sensor is broken but if I push hard seems to make contact as I finally get reading via obd port.
also fuel is two years old, not sure if this could be an issue

Any tips?

Thanks in advance

get some fresh fuel in it, change the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure, and yes those codes sure sound like a TPS, but check the wiring for damage first....setting for two years it's quite likely that some critter may have caused some damage

Thanks, I was thinking along those lines. Also a few of the plugs for the injectors, ect and tps have a couple millimeters of exposed wire so I was just going to snag the ones off my parts disco and solder them in. It's probably fine but I don't like the way it looks and potential for a short has me worried
