I bought my 1998 range used. Unfortunately it only came with one key. I saw blanks on ebay and i was wondering if i could take that to a key maker and have a new one made or if there was a chip inside that had to be programed. Thanks.

 

welcome. no chip that i know of. before you do the ebay thing check with the local hardware, parts stores, I had one made at the hardware, they had the blank. hope it helps, gotta love a rover. duboff
