someone that has rebuits borgwarner transferboxes would have no
problem, but if you have never see the inside of a transferbox then i
would stay out.
if you want i have a body electrial control module (becm) used part number
YWC112210 that need to be unlock and programed to your VIN
its used and asking 100 dollars (because the core charge is 100 dollars)

Swap on an LT230 with CDL if you're doing offroading and you won't have future rebuild issues. (well most likely) Never liked the idea of having a viscous clutch and chain in the middle of the drivetrain.

What is the problem with yours...symptoms...... I have replaced the chain in mines .... but the gears where fine so didn't see a need to relace 'em

when i take off from a stop sign or driveway, i can hear the transfercase go bang bang bang. it wont do it as much if you take it easy driving off. but it is really bad. and really noticable that something is not right. i have changed the tranny fluid and i have looked for metal chippings in the fluid but i didnt see any. but i need to find a transfer case for less than $1000 but i dont know where. roverlandparts.com wants over $1500. I COULD ONLY IMAGINE WHAT LAND ROVER WANTS.
