Hi i'm new on here and hoped you could give me some advice!
I have a L reg Classic, (3.9 V8 gas converted). It has had the head gaskets done and heads skimmed (they needed doing!), but its still overheating!
It is getting up to the normal running temp (just below halfway) within about 4 miles, it then sits there and starts creeping up again after about 10 miles. It makes no difference if you hammer the car or drive steady, and once it starts to get hot if you stop and let it tick over the temp goes back down.
All the pipes seem to be hot and the heaters are fine, the thermostat has also been checked.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
