My first post! I've been a lurker for awhile but decided its time to register. Maybe someone else had this problem or knows of a solution.

The last 3 or 4 times I had my 2006 Range Rover HSE serviced at the dealership, I mentioned how the seat heaters, when turned on, immediately activated the climate control. Unless I'm losing it, I remember many times where the seat heaters did NOT turn on the climate control. Each time, the dealership said it is performing as intended. Have I momentarily lost my memory, or am I correct in thinking the seat heaters should not activate the climate control?

My seat heaters activate the climate control every time I turn them on. The front windsheild heater activates the climate control aslo. I think it is suppose to do that. I would love to hear what other trucks are doing.

 

Sorry, you've lost your memory =) . I have an '04 and the climate control also comes on when I push the heated seat button.

 

Our 06 and 08 do the same thing...it's annoying because sometimes, even on moderately warm summer nights - she will be chilly when we're going home and hit her seat heater while I have AC blasting...
