Should I purchase....
2006, HSE, LR3 (22,000 miles) $31,000 I've checked some prices, it's seems to be in the price range. How well does it hold it's value? How dependable are they? Expensive to maintain? Sorry for all the questions, but things I should know
Now I am not an expert on the newer Rovers but I have a lot of experience with the older models so I will speak generally about them. Sorry to be the bearer of bad new but Range Rovers have some of the worst depreciation out of any vehicle on the market. As far as major mechanical issues they are very dependable however they love to have little things go wrong. If you are capable and enjoy working on vehicles you will find them to be relatively easy to maintain. If you have to go to the dealer every time the check engine light comes on plan on spending thousands a year to maintain. With all that being said, Rovers are incredibly addicting and will get into your blood. I love mine and don't mind spending my weekends keeping her in tip top shape.

It's not bad as the older rover. Don't get scared. Just buy it and enjoy the ride. LH3 has newer electronics and technology in it, plus you are not off roading. It is just like any other car some have problems and most of them don't. People who usually come here have problem with their rovers. They are the one that complains alot.
I would check over on the LR3 side of these forums, they will provide more information about them. I almost bought an lr3, great vehicles, just watch out for the differential problem. 31k is OK, if it is an HSE! I think you can do better unless it comes with a warranty. Good luck, and happy hunting
