Default Some help is needed, my first RR.

Hello all.

We are looking for a new car for the family.
The Range Rover is a great looking car in my eyes, so coool

What we are looking for a car with great comfort, 4x4 and at the same time safe, IF we run into something.

The RR I am looking at is a one owners car, 2007 V8 TDI Vogue with all services done and with a total of 100 000 KM on its back.

So, how are these cars when it comes to quality? Have heard a lot bad....But, I am not believing all things I hear.
Any thing I need to look out for?

All help/tip is welcome.

They won't let us have very many diesels in the US, no market for them, we all prefer petrol models and won't stand for anything over 15 mpg. You'll be looking at enough folding money to get the truck that a pre-purchase inspection by an indy mechanic would be good.

Hello and thank you.

Any weak points I need to look into?
Air suspension, electrics?

suspension bags will eventually leak. so many computers demand a good battery, don't try to use the cheapest battery and get 5 years from it. We really don't have many of these over in the States because the sales weasels think we won't buy a diesel.

Thanks for the information.
I guess the problems are the same, if any problems, petrol or TD engine.

Well, a leak in the air suspension will come, I guess, on all cars with that.

Thank you for the battery information, good tip to me

Oh, for 1 liter of petrol you have to pay 2.3-2.5 $, yes....crazy!
So, I am looking at the TD V8.
