Message pop up again and now I can not get the truck into low. The low gear light on the dash does not come on and check control says ok. I think the transfer motor is dead. Can I still drive it that way as long as no other errors occur. The truck drives fine in every gear

 

see this thread. A few of us had the same issue. Turned out to be shift motor for me.
