Just got my o4 Range back. Trans went out on my at 70k miles. Extended warranty pauid 3700 to fix it but went through hell with them. Then while it was at the shop getting rebuilt, they tell me my trans cooler is broken, warranty won't pay for that so I had to shell out another 800 to get new cooler, 400 for cooler and 400 for labor. So crappy but hopefully the trans is good for another 3 years or so. Trans is warrantied 3years and 50k but I have a feeling if it breaks they will blame on cooler b/c cooler only has 90 days.

 

Be glad you didn't have a wise old warranty inspector, if they had found the failed cooler first, they wouldn't have covered your tranny.
