Default Windshield replaced but,

Two months ago I had to replace the front windscreen on my 98 RR. The glass company made sure I got the windshield with the wires in the glass. I had a small 6 inch crack but codes changed last year and now only a two inch crack is allowed.

No problem, the replacement was finished in 4 hours.

I didn't think about the defroster connections, until two days ago when we had a foggy morning and the electric defroster didn't clear the fog from the glass.
I rarely play the radio so I didn't think about it either. My wife said two days ago the radio doesn't pick up stations like it used to.

My question is is there a place where I can check the electrical connectios for the defroster, AND where is the radio antenna on the 98 RR, in the front glass too?

Need to replace my windscreen too. I have been hesitant to do it since there always is a problem when the OM parts was switched out. To answer your question about the radio antenna I believe the antenna are built into the rear side windows. At least in my 2002 p38 thats where mine are. Hope this helps and best of luck.
