Default pump?

I'm sure you have checked the oil level! Had the vehicle been driving, or did it happen when first starting? How many miles has it done and, how long have you had it? As it is noisy it is pretty safe to say mechanical damage has been done BUT; I would first check the actual pressure anyway, if it is low you should remove the front cover to get to the pump and inspect for damage, Once done let me know what you find!

The truck was running and i stopped within about 100 feet. The oil level is good and it has about 111000 on it and i have owned it for about 2 yrs now.

There are 2 things that will cause low oil PSI.
1-to low on oil
2-bad oil pump

Not shure but check with you dealer, some late model disco 2s, had an incorrectly machined block at the front cover, causing low oil psi
