Talking 03 disco "missing" and check engine light blinking

2003 Discovery 92000 miles feels like it is "missing" when in drive and at a stop light. Check engine light starts blinking at times, then quits, blinks for about 4 blinks. Getting brakes replaced on Wednesday. Haven't had codes read yet, can I drive it for two days and what might be happening. I have had the Disco for 3 years. Thanks, cindy

The codes will likely be misfire related.

Not with the check engine light flashing. Unless you want to risk damaging the catalytic converters.

It was all of the electrical wiring, the guy said my car is " going" bad, the transmission is on its way out and the underbody is all rusted and that I have about a year left on my 2003 Disco with 94,000 miles. I am so sad but getting a second opinion. What do you all think?

Hi OP,
Had you seen any code with flashing check engine light ?
If yes please check engine code.
And you should fix this error asap.
