Default 04 Land Rover Discovery 2 oil leak after changing oil

Hi forum, so I have a problem on my 04 Land Rover D2 V8. I changed the oil an a day later I say oil drips look under an whole bottom is oil soaked an motor is empty. I noticed a lot coming from around filter. I grab it an I could turn it a good amount, only it was tight when I put it on. So it was so low I just pulled the filter an drained the little bit in the motor, an did another complete oil change. This time a wix filter an mobile 1 an filled it up. Next day oil covering bottom of the vehicle. It is coming from around the filter area but can’t figure out where an I can see it just not where from. Anyone got any ideas I’m going nuts an I’m into an oil change 2 times back to back an over $120 so far can’t afford this to happen

You didn't accidentally leave the o-ring from the first oil filter on did you?
Sometimes they stick to where the filter spins on (and it can happen on most any vehicle with a spin-on filter)
It may not be the problem, but it's an easy mistake to make.
