Hi,
We took my brother in laws land rover and did a compression check on all the cylinders. We cleaned and re-gapped the plugs and put it back together and nothing. We checked the firing order (but if you have input on firing order feel free) and all seems correct. It will "try" to start every few strokes but only shudders. What am I missing here? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

1. Put a plug on the plug wire and lay on manifold. Crank. Any sparks? If none, ignition amplfier.
2. On the fuel rail on the passenger side (NAS) there is a "tire valve" where you can attach a pressure gauge. When cranking it should be 32 - 34 PSI. Can be fuse to pump, pump, fuel filter. Should hear pump run for a second or two when key is turned.
