Hi, new to forum and the world of Land Rovers - love mine, but have had a few problems; $900 in coolant problems the costliest...having a problem with my windshield wipers, they only work in one mode or if i hold the stalk down, also my cruise control doesn't work.
I checked fuses and was able to fix the horn - anyone else have a problem with wipers or cruise control?

Remove the wiper switch and take it apart, clean all the contact and reinstall. If that doesn't work, time for a used or new one.
What sort of coolant problem did you have?

 

Turn the steering wheel vertical so the flat bottom of it faces the wiper stalk, remove the cover on the steering column.
Remove the 2 phillips screws, pry the wiper stalk up and out.

 

Had what i thought to be a thermostat problem - dealer didn't fully test pressure, wound up being a seal at the engine. I live in Montana so the nearest dealer is in Spokane...makes for expensive labour at the ford dealer!

 

So, stay away from the dealers, ask more questions here on line and find a local Rover shop to help you.
