2001 Disco II Diagnostics Help
I was able to use vice grips to take out the security screws, thanks for the advice Jafir.
I was able to successfully replace the MAF sensor this past weekend. I did not reset the codes and today my SES light either burnt out, or I fixed the problem
Thank YOU ALL so much for your help, I hope this post will help others in the future, like others posts have helped me.
One more thing to note: I am not so sure that I needed to remove the security screws at all. Once I removed them I realized that the electrical plug to the MAF was just a clip that needed to be pressed together on each side of the plug, and then pulled away from the MAF unit (rather tough to pull off, I had to use pliers to press both of the clips down and pull delicately as to not break the plug clips.)
