Posted this down below as well but my 2001 P38 tailgate decided not to work today. All other door locks work with key and fob. When I push the button it just depresses all the way and nothing happens. It seems like it's locked. Any thoughts on how to fix?

I hear no power going to the tailgate when unlocking with key or fob.

 

Remove the rear door speakers.
You should be able to reach in and grab the rod that goes to the plastic lock tab that goes up and down.
It must have come unhooked, plastic clip broken.
