My wipers are down to pretty much nothing. I called the dealership and it's $47 per blade!? That's crazy! I reviewed some older posts on here and it was suggested to get the rubber from Walmart or Advance Autoparts and trim it down. I went to Advance and the employee there said they didn't have the wiper that I needed and when he looked at it, he couldn't figure out how to slide the rubber blade out. I'm new to this and at the expense of sounding like a girlie-girl, I just can't seem to figure it out (in my defense, the auto partsguy couldn't either!).

I'm not spending $100 on new wipers for my Rover. But I need to be able to see. Should this be an easy fix? Where should I go to get the replacement rubber blades and how do I pull the darn thing out?

You didn't read lats weekends post regarding Sill Blades, buy them on line or thru Expedition Exchange. I have a set that are at least 4 plus years old, they are the only way to go.

I did see that post thanks so much. I actually went to the site and I'll be ordering those today. But, in the interim, I can't see. Is there a quick/cheap fix that I can do while I wait for delivery?
