heater problems
I have just bought my first range rover and I love it!! It is a 92 county classic with 174k miles and runs like a top. Being fairly new to the range rover scene, I am wondering about possible problems that I can look forward to. Also, the heat is not working. I can get the defroster to work at highway cruising speed, but the fan will not blow. The heater will not heat at all and the fanwill onlyblowcold air on the first two fan speeds. I love this truck and would really love todrive it during the winter, but without heat it is kind of hard.Any ideas would be very helpful. I do have some mechanical knowledge, but not any rangerover knowledge.

The first things which come to mind re the heater being cold are to check the coolant level (pronto as you'll stand a good chance of blowing the engine if it's seriously low) and to check the thermostat is operating correctly - what does the temp gauge show after 5 minutes of moderate driving? If it's still showing cold then definitely check the above as soon as you can.
Cheers,
