Default 2006 LR3 Suspension HELP!

I have a 2006 LR3 SE 156,000miles . Independent mechanic replaced front lower control arms and bushings . When I picked up car suspension would not raise to complete 4 wheel alignment . Was getting HDC Fault Suspension lowered , and a ABS Brake fault in which the vehicle would act like the ABS brakes were engaging at low speed. An additional independent "foreign shop" told me I needed a new compressor in which I purchased a Hitachi Compressor from parts geeks. Foreign shop installed but vehicle did not raise and was told I had to bring to rover to have software flash! Off to the dealer I go they sell me a new height sensor $400 installed plus software flash and they tell me compressor I bought was bad and they kicked it back to Foreign Indy shop. Bought another new Hitachi Compressor installed this week and no change Vehicle will not raise !

Is there something the first mechanic could have done when doing the control arms that could cause this problem . Tired of throwing money at this!

Thanks for any help!

If you had no suspension issues before the control arm replacement I would think something got disconnected and missed or badly damaged.

What codes are you getting?

Although you "should" get the software update with a Hitachi, it isn't required, which is why most people seek out the Hitachi compressor instead of the newer AMK. It should have worked right out of the box, unless it wasn't the issue.

A complete scan of the vehicle will need to be done to see what codes are in what modules. Fault codes in suspension can cause ABS malfunctions and fault codes in ABS can cause Suspension malfunctions. You need to look at the big picture when diagnosing this and see what is stored in ALL the modules.
